Terms and Conditions

DEFINITIONS
1 The Company shall mean ShiZhen TCM UK Ltd
2 The Buyer shall mean the person, firm or company that have placed an order to the Company for the supply of goods
3 The Order shall mean the order placed by the Buyer with the Company for the supply of goods by the Company to the Buyer.
4 The Goods shall mean goods forming the subject matter of this contract.

ORDERING
1 The Buyers order is an offer subject to the Company's terms and conditions.
2 Please use product code numbers and Pin Yin to enable efficient processing.
3 Wholesale and Prescription Orders may be placed by phone, fax or surface mail. For phone orders please call between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. You can fax your order to us anytime. ShiZhen use fax order forms for prescriptions which are available free of charge from us.
4 Prescription orders placed before 3pm will be sent out by 1st class post the same day. Special delivery is available by request.
5 For single herbs please specify dried herbs or concentrated herbal powder.

PAYMENT
1 We accept cash, cheques, Visa, Access, Mastercard and Switch. Our preferred option is cheque.
2 For first time Buyers payment is requested with the Order. Subsequently an account will be opened with payment due 28 days from the date of invoice.
3 All invoices should be paid within 28 days of receipt. Overdue invoices will be charged at 2% monthly.
4 All bank charges incurred by the Company in settling invoices will be charged at cost to the Buyer.
5 Unless otherwise agreed in writing at the date of contract all payments under contract are to be made in pound sterling.
6 All prices are Trade Prices to Practitioners, Clinics, Retail Outlets and other Suppliers. Separate retail prices will be charged to members of the general public buying direct from our clinics. Retail prices are available on request.

DISCOUNTS
1 We offer set discounts to practitioners and retail shops for raw and powdered single herbs on the value of goods ordered excluding VAT and carriage.
5% on orders over 100 pounds
7.5% on orders over 200 pounds
10% on orders over 300 pounds
15% on orders over 500 pounds
2 Students and TCM schools and colleges are entitled to the following discounts:
TCM Students: 10% on all single herbs excluding VAT and carriage.
TCM Schools and Colleges: 15% on all single herbs excluding VAT and carriage.

RETURNED GOODS
1 We are happy to accept returns provided the goods are as new and the Buyer pays the return postage. Please inform us first before returning any goods. You may return goods within 14 days for a credit, refund or replacement.

CARRIAGE
1 We normally use 1st Class or 24 hours Carriage Service, whichever is cheaper. First Class Post is at cost plus 50p or 1 pound packing, depending on the size of packages. Special delivery services are available on request. We use Euro 48 services for export, which is charged at a very competitive rate.

DAMAGE OF GOODS IN TRANSIT
1 Damage incurred in transit must be reported to the Post Office or Carrier and to ShiZhen TCM UK Ltd within 3 days of receipt.

CONDITIONS
1 These conditions shall apply to the sale of all Goods by the Company.
2 No employee or other person acting or purporting to act on behalf of the Company is authorised to agree or affect any alterations in these terms.
